Taking Companies & Individuals
from distress to de-stress

Keep staff happy

If you want stress-free staff, focus on the team. Stressed staff usually feel isolated and that the weight of the
company rests on their shoulders alone. Help them see the bigger picture and how the burden is shared and
stress starts to fall away.

Team building boosts morale, increases team cohesion and has a positive effect on productivity and efficiency.

Here are just three of the team-building activities that we recommend. There are many others we use too with clients. The common thread is that they are all practical, engaging and - most importantly – fun!

Drumming

Rhythm is one of the most natural things in the world. It's everywhere - from the turning of the tides
to every creature's heartbeat. Research shows that creating rhythm through drumming creates
sub-sonic vibrations that positively influence everything from the cells in your body to your emotional
state. That makes it a workout for the heart, mind and body. Effective teams display two principles: a common vision and effective communication. Our corporate drumming sessions - Team Beat - use

these principles to build a wall of sound that engulfs those participating. Individuals have a voice, yet work together. Each session also gives the perfect metaphor to discuss teamwork and communication. And everyone has a great deal of fun.

Obituaries

What would people say about you when you’ve gone? Write your obituary and take stock. Focus on your personal goals, visualise your personal aims and potential and identify personal potential, life values, purpose and meaning. This is a simple exercise to lift people out of habitual thought patterns, and to encourage deep evaluation of personal aims, values, purpose and meaning.

Modelling games

Teams work together to build the highest tower or strongest bridge using paper, foil, straws, string and various other everyday items. This teaches team-building, mutual understanding, expression of ideas, leadership and co-working skills and creativity.
