To mark World Mental Health Day, The Stress Management Society has decided to collaborate with Pause Global and Change Your World for a free online event to launch a ’30 Day Mindfulness/Pause Challenge’.
Mindfulness is credited with helping people to be healthier, smarter, happier, more efficient, creative and resilient.
In this live 90 minute interactive workshop; Neil Shah, Danielle North and Suzy Beaumont will facilitate a series of guided mindfulness practices, giving attendees personal strategies to slow down, reduce stress and anxiety, and increase resilience.
You will leave having regained a sense of balance and improved focus in your life, ready to start your ’30 Day Pause Challenge’.

Why 30 Days?
It can take up to 30 days to form a habit or change behaviours. Therefore, over the course of the following 30 days participants will incorporate the strategies and techniques they have learnt into their day-to-day lives, whilst providing support to one another through the opt-in buddy system we will facilitate through the Teams event.
We will send hints, tips, tricks and support every day throughout the challenge to provide motivation and keep you connected. By the end of the 30-day challenge, participants will reap the benefits of discovering how taking time out daily to be present and still enables them to become more productive, motivated and empowered.
We will end the 30 days with a free follow up workshop to share the positives and challenges of your journey and to learn an additional skill to further embed everything learnt during the experience.

How do I join?
Register using the form on this page, we will contact you to confirm your space and send you the link for the Teams event.
I don’t have Teams, do I need to download anything?
No, (you can if you like) the link is automatic and will open through your internet browser. You will be added to the Teams invite the morning of the event.
Waaaait a minute…what’s the catch? What is this going to cost me?
No catch, this is a free event. We do need you to register your interest so we can send you the joining instructions and a link to the Pause Capability Test.
What’s a Pause Capability Test?
All journeys have a beginning, and it’s a good idea to mark your starting point so you can track your progress. The Pause Capability Test is a free, voluntary and confidential assessment that helps identify how well you are able to ‘pause’ – how well you create space in your life and are able to go within for calmer clarity.
Assessing you in five capabilities, the test helps you develop a more granular understanding of how your habits and behaviours are linked to your emotional health, and identifies what you can do to change.
Why do I have to opt-in to the cohort?
You don’t have to but past delegates have really benefitted from the support in the group, being able to receive a daily motivation and being able to return 30 days later using the same link with all of the resources in the same place.
