It is well known that eating lots of fruit and vegetables is good for your physical health – we have all heard the saying ‘an apple a day keeps the doctor away’! However the latest research suggests that it is also beneficial for your mental health.

The University of Leeds ran a study across 40,00 UK participants and showed that the consumption of fruit and vegetables is linked to increases in self-reported mental wellbeing and life satisfaction across a 5-year period.
