Empower Yourself to Support Others – Become a Mental Health Champion

Mental health isn’t just a workplace issue—it’s a human one. Whether you’re looking to support your colleagues, family, friends, or your wider community, our Mental Health Champions Programme offers you the skills, confidence, and practical tools to make a real difference.

This isn’t about becoming a therapist—it’s about becoming a supportive, informed, and approachable presence in the lives of those around you.

Who Is This For?

This cohort is open to individuals from all walks of life—employees from various organisations, line managers, team leads, freelancers, HR professionals, parents, carers, and anyone passionate about mental health.

Whether you’ve been nominated by your workplace or simply want to show up better for those you care about, this course is for you.

Why Join the Cohort?

Unlike internal company cohorts, our programme brings together a diverse mix of people from different industries, backgrounds, and life experiences. This opens up rich discussion, fresh insights, and a sense of shared humanity—because mental health affects us all.

  • Build community through open, real conversations
  • Gain confidence in supporting others—even when you don’t have all the answers
  • Learn practical tools to apply in any setting—home, work, or social
  • Be part of a movement that normalises asking for and offering help

What You’ll Learn

Across four engaging sessions (2.5 hours each), you’ll discover how to:

  • Recognise early warning signs of mental health struggles
  • Have supportive, compassionate conversations
  • Signpost effectively to professional support
  • Understand boundaries and manage your own wellbeing in the process
  • Help reduce stigma and build a culture of care—wherever you are

We use practical tools and frameworks like:

  • The Wellbeing GPS – for navigating mental health conversations
  • H.A.R.D. Conversations – for empathy-led communication
  • The Bridge Analogy – understanding how people move from struggle to support
  • I.D.E.A.L.S. Model – a step-by-step approach to being a confident Champion
