Hey Pausers,

Today we are looking at the importance of creating morning rituals and how they can help you start your day right. We have a few tips about quick and easy actions which will put you in a positive, productive mindset.

Wake Up

Make sure that you get out of bed as soon as you wake up. Although having a lie-in can be tempting, getting up straight away will help to clear your head and get your day off to a strong start.

Make Notes

Writing things down is a great way of keeping you focused on your goals and what you wish to achieve. It’s easy to get distracted by different tasks throughout the day which can prevent us from being productive. Keep a pen and paper next to your bed to make note of the following things:

  • What you are thankful for
  • Two words to describe your mood
  • Your goals for the day
  • Your to-do list

Drink Water

Drinking water will help you stay hydrated and support your hunger queues throughout the day.

Have a Healthy breakfast

Breakfast is the most important meal of the day so make sure that you are eating something nutritious and delicious.

Breathing Exercises, Meditation or Yoga

Focusing on your breathing and engaging your body is a good way to keep you mindful throughout the day. Set a bit of time aside each day to centre in, calm your mind, gather your thoughts and acknowledge how you’re feeling. This can be anything from a few simple breaths to longer session depending on your schedule.
